The first thing colourists notice about Inoa is the smell, or rather the absence of one. ODS2, the oil delivery system that stands in for ammonia, carries pigment into the hair without the fumes, and that changes the experience both for the client in the chair and for whoever is standing over them all day.
Ten volume is the low end of the range and it is a depositing strength. Use it to darken, to lay tone onto a base that is already where you want it, to cover white hair, or to lift by a single level at most.

Application tips
Mixed with Inoa colour to the ratio the system specifies. The oil base makes the mix looser than a standard cream, so weigh it rather than eyeballing it and expect the consistency to feel unfamiliar the first few times.
Section cleanly and move quickly, because a thinner mix travels. On a client with a lot of white hair, start where the concentration is heaviest and give that area the full development time. Emulsify at the basin before you shampoo.
Results
The room stays breathable, which sounds like a comfort note and turns into a working condition when you are stood over colour all day.
On the hair, tone deposits evenly and the fibre comes out feeling close to how it went in. Shine holds up because the cuticle has not been forced open as hard, and the result fades gently rather than dropping off a cliff at week four.
