Six volume is the gentlest developer in the Dia range, and you reach for it when the colour needs to sit on the hair without disturbing what is underneath. It deposits, it does not lift, and the natural pigment stays exactly where it is.
That makes it the gloss and toning bottle. Shine services, refreshing a mid-length that has faded, correcting a tone that has gone slightly off, or working on hair that has had enough done to it already and cannot take another lifting service.
It runs with Dia Light and Dia Richesse, and at 1.8 per cent the process is mild enough for sensitised hair. A litre lasts a long time at this end of the range.
Zero lift also means it will not correct a shade that has gone too light, only add tone on top of what is already sitting there. Worth being clear on that difference before anything gets mixed. 1000ml (33.8 oz).

Application tips
Gloss work only. Mix with Dia Light or Dia Richesse to the stated ratio and treat it as a finishing service rather than a colour change.
Towel-dried hair takes it best for shine. Apply quickly and evenly across the whole head, since short processing times punish a slow application. Ten to twenty minutes depending on the shade, then emulsify and rinse. No developer swap halfway through, and no topping up with something stronger.
Results
Hair picks up a clear glassy shine and the existing colour looks refreshed rather than replaced. Nothing underneath moves.
Tone can be nudged warmer or cooler by a fraction, which is exactly what a correction after a slightly-off colour needs. The process stays mild enough for hair that has already had a full service that week. Sensitised lengths take it without further dryness, and the result rinses out looking conditioned.
