Application tips
Forty volume is the top of the range and it moves fast. Mix it fresh with your lightener or permanent colour to the stated ratio, apply promptly, and watch the development rather than trusting the clock alone.
Keep it off the scalp on a full head of bleach and reserve it for lengths that can take it. Strand test if you are unsure how the hair will behave, and wear gloves from the moment the bottle opens.
Results
Four levels of lift is the headroom on offer, and it lays down no tone of its own. That matters when a toner is coming next and you need a clean, neutral canvas to work onto.
