Because it is a dark rose gold rather than a pastel one, it holds better than most pink toned shades and does not need a bleached base to show. On mid to dark blonde and light brown the rose reads clearly. On darker hair it comes through as a warm shimmer instead.

Application tips
A strand test on your ends is worth the time here, because rose gold shows every unevenness. Do the allergy alert test as directed too.
Apply to dry hair in sections, keeping porous ends until last. Rinse in cool water, condition, and wash less often afterwards. Fewer washes keeps the rose in it noticeably longer.
