Apply to dry unwashed hair, working from the roots on a first application and from the mid-lengths on a retouch. Eight weeks is the outside figure for fade resistance, so plan the retouch before you get there.

Application tips
Colour goes onto dry, unwashed hair, so plan the wash around it. Run the allergy alert test the leaflet describes first, on the timing it gives.
Mix the tube with the developer, add the shine elixir, and shake until the colour looks even. Roots first if you are lightening from scratch, or the roots that have grown out if you are touching up, then comb the rest through for the last few minutes. Rinse, condition, dry.
Results
Warmth is held in check at this level, so the blonde reads soft rather than yellow.
The finish is glossy instead of chalky, which matters at this degree of lightness where hair can look dry when it is simply fine. Colour holds through repeated washing and lands evenly along the whole length rather than turning patchy.
