Application tips
Once a week, in place of the conditioner rather than after it. Doubling up just leaves the hair heavy.
Blot the water out, then work a generous amount into the bottom half in sections, squeezing it up into the ends. Pile it up, clip it and leave it five minutes, longer under a warm towel. Rinse until the water runs clear, because leftover mask on long hair reads as greasy the next day.
Results
The oldest hair on the head starts behaving more like the newest. Ends that felt coarse and dry soften enough to sit flat rather than flaring out.
Split ends do not mend, but a reinforced fibre breaks less often, and less breakage is how length gets kept. Hair looks glossier and hangs with more weight. A weekly sitting is enough on most long hair, twice a week if it has been coloured as well.
