Cocoa butter conditions deeply, so hair feels softer and less prone to snapping, and length has a better chance of staying on your head rather than in the sink.
It doubles as a scalp oil and as a sealant over a leave-in, and it takes dull hair back to something that reflects light.
Warm it between your palms before it goes near the hair. Cocoa butter oil is thick, and a cold application lands in patches instead of spreading through a section.

Application tips
Warm the bottle in your hands for a moment; cocoa butter blends thicken when the bathroom is cold.
Tip a little into a palm and take it through damp hair in sections, ends first, working back towards the roots with whatever is left. On dry hair, a couple of drops rubbed between the fingers will do the ends alone. It also works as a pre wash soak left on for half an hour.
Results
Dry, brittle lengths take on a softer feel within a wash or two and stop looking dusty at the tips. Hair holds together better under a brush, so the frayed look along the last inch settles down.
The finish is a proper shine rather than a greasy sheen, provided you keep the amount small. Coarse hair takes more of it than fine hair does.
