Application tips
Do the skin allergy test ahead of the day you plan to colour. Section the hair into four before mixing anything, because the mixture starts working the moment it is combined. Roots first on regrowth, all over for a first application. Set a timer the second the last strand is covered. Rinse until the water runs completely clear, then use the treatment supplied in the kit.
Results
The wiry greys at the temples, the ones that usually resist, take the colour along with the rest. The colour lands close to the shade on the front of the box, assuming your starting point is roughly what the chart shows. Hair feels conditioned rather than rough when you rinse it off. The shade holds for weeks before regrowth, rather than the colour itself, becomes the reason to redo it.
