Application tips
Run the allergy alert test in advance, every time, even if you have used this shade before. Mix the colour with the developer in the bottle, shake it, then start at the roots where grey sits hardest and comb the rest down through the lengths. Gloves on for the whole application. Time it by the clock rather than by eye, rinse until the water runs clear, then use whatever after-colour treatment comes in the kit.
Results
Grey goes from silver to a light brown that matches the rest, without the flat block colour that gives away a box dye. Regrowth is the only thing that eventually gives the game away.
