Application tips
Put them in before you do anything else, not after you have started painting. Slide the foam between each toe from the front, working outwards from the big toe, and wiggle the foot to settle them.
Wipe each nail with a remover pad once they are in, since the separators push the toes into a position that shows up any oil you missed. Take them out last.
Results
Every nail gets painted properly, edges included, because nothing is pressed against anything else while you work. Colour goes on level, the sidewalls stay clean, and there are no smears between the small toes where they usually happen.
The foam is soft enough that twenty minutes of sitting still is bearable. Rinse them under the tap afterwards and they are ready to use again.
