The foam version of Frizz Buster, and the lighter of the two. Where the gel is for straightening, the foam is a general styling base with the same frizz job built into it. It is light enough to go through fine hair without flattening it, and it locks humidity out as it dries, which is the real reason frizz appears in the first place. Hold is flexible, so styles keep their movement, and there is no stiffness or sticky residue once it has set.

8.5 oz can.

Use it on damp hair before you style, whichever direction you are taking it: a blow-dry, a diffused curl, a roller set. Suits all hair types, and it is the more forgiving option if you have found styling gels too heavy in the past. A foam also takes a second application better than a gel does, so you can build the hold rather than committing to all of it at once.

Application tips

Foam suits people who hate the feel of gel, and it goes on the same way: damp hair, sections, fingers. An orange-sized handful covers medium length hair.

Distribute root to tip, then either scrunch for texture or brush out for smoothness. It sets as it dries, so make the decision about the style before it goes on rather than halfway through.

Results

Frizz stays flat and the hold stays soft, so the hair keeps its movement instead of locking into position. The shine is quiet rather than glossy, and fine hair picks up a bit of thickness.

A set style survives a full day and brushes out without residue or white bits at the roots, which is the usual failure point with foams.

Composition

The full INCI is printed on the pack. We publish it here as soon as the brand supplies it, and we will read it off the bottle for you if you ask.
