This is the step before the glue. Adhesives sit directly against your scalp and your own hair for the length of an install, and this 6 oz spray puts a barrier in between so the two are not in contact for weeks at a time.

Application tips
This goes on before anything else. Part the hair where the track or the unit will sit, spray the exposed scalp and the hair immediately around it, and let it dry completely before adhesive touches anything.
Do not skip the drying, since bonding onto a damp barrier defeats the exercise. Reapply at each install rather than assuming the last one is still doing its job.

What you end up with is a layer between your own hair and the glue, which keeps them apart for the whole span of an install.
