The Sports formula is built around water resistance. Standard melt sprays hold well until sweat gets between the lace and the skin, and then the edge lifts. This one is made to sit through that, along with humidity and the sort of movement that shifts a normal bond.
Two other things are in the formula. Nourishing ingredients for the scalp and hairline under the unit, and oil control at the skin, which is the other reason a melt loosens over a long wear.
