People new to lace units often buy an adhesive and wonder why the hairline still looks like a hairline. Adhesive holds the wig on. It does nothing about the lace itself, which sits slightly proud of the skin and catches light along its edge. A melt spray is what flattens it.
The Silk Protein version does that job while putting silk protein, vitamin E and keratin onto the skin underneath. It works alone, or over Wonder Lace Bond adhesive for a firmer hold. Ebin also list it as reducing frizz and adding shine on the unit, which follows from what a melt does to the hair at the front.
At 4.5 oz it is the size for regular wearers. A frontal takes more product than a closure, and running out mid-install is worse than owning too much.

Application tips
Adhesive down and dry, lace laid, then this. Spray in strips across the front, working left to right so you can see what has already been covered, and press each strip in with a damp cloth.
Wrap the head for a quarter of an hour. Keep it off a fringe or the body of the unit: it belongs at the hairline, where mesh meets skin.
Results
