An aerosol lays down differently to a pump spray. The mist is finer and more even, which on a lace melt is the difference between a hairline that disappears and one with a patchy edge. This is the Supreme melt in aerosol form, in the small 2.1 oz can.
A melt spray does a different job to an adhesive. Rather than gluing the lace on, it lays it flat against the skin so the knots and the mesh stop catching light and the transition reads as scalp. Used on its own it holds. Used over Wonder Lace Bond adhesive it improves the adhesion as well.
The formula carries rose water and biotin, both aimed at the skin and hair at the hairline rather than at the wig. That matters if you wear units back to back and your own edges spend most of their life under lace.

Application tips
Install the unit first and let any adhesive cure. Shake the can, stand a good arm's length back, and sweep across the hairline in one continuous movement rather than lingering over a single spot.
Smooth the lace flat straight away with a damp cloth, then wrap a scarf over the front for ten minutes. Add a second light pass if any part of the border still stands proud.
Results
The lace stops being something you can see. Knots quit picking up light, the mesh presses into the skin, and what is left at the front looks like a parting.
Hold is firm used alone and firmer over adhesive. Rose water and biotin sit against your own edges while all that happens, which counts for something when your hairline rarely sees daylight.
