Knots are what give a lace wig away. Every hair on a lace front is tied to the mesh, and those tiny dark dots read as dots rather than as a scalp under any decent light. The usual fix is bleaching the knots, which weakens them and shortens the life of the unit. Ebin's tinted concealer goes the other way. You tint the lace to look like scalp instead of lightening the knots, so the hair reads as growing out of the head and the unit keeps its strength. Half an ounce covers a lot of hairlines.
Build it up in thin layers and let each one dry. Two light passes read as scalp, one heavy pass reads as makeup.
It is waterproof and fade-resistant once set, so it holds through sweat, humidity and a full day out without transferring onto a hood or a collar.
Anyone wearing lace fronts or closures regularly, and anyone who has already lost a unit to over-bleached knots, will get the point of it immediately.
