Application tips
Setting lotion belongs on wet hair, straight after conditioner and before anything else. Distribute it evenly with a comb, section by section, then wrap, roll or mould as you intended.
Rollers want it damp; a wrap wants it damp too. Sit under a hood dryer if you have one, or let it air dry fully before you unwrap, because half-dry hair loses the set.
Results
Sets hold their shape and last, whether that is a roller set, a doobie wrap or a moulded style. Hair is left smooth and shiny rather than crisp, and the hold does not turn brittle by the evening.
Frizz stays flat while the style is up. There is a tingle when it goes on, which is the brand's signature and settles within a couple of minutes.
