Dexe build it for textured, curly, wavy and coily hair that has gone dull and rough. Heat tools, colour and hard weather strip moisture out of a coiled strand faster than out of any other shape, and once that moisture is gone the hair turns brittle and the pattern stops holding. This is the intensive conditioning step for that state: it goes on thick, works into the fibre rather than sitting on the outside of it, and the hair comes back softer with its elasticity restored.

Application tips
Shampoo first, then squeeze the hair until it stops dripping. A mask cannot get into a fibre already saturated with water.
Work in sections, a fingerful at a time, raking from mid-length to ends before going anywhere near the roots. Twist each section up out of the way and leave it under a cap or a warm towel for the time the pack gives. Rinse in cool water.
Results
The difference shows in handling more than in looks. Hair that felt rough and squeaky comes out soft and slightly weighted, and sections that used to catch on each other slide apart instead.
Detangling stops being a fight. Dull lengths pick up light again, coils that had gone limp hold their shape once dry, and the ends stop shedding little broken pieces into the sink.
