The Shrinkage Defense Curl Activator is the centrepiece. It works against the curl drawing itself up as it dries, so the pattern stays elongated and the length you actually have is the length that shows. The Moisture Twist Curling Mousse handles the other half, adding volume and a flexible hold that does not turn crunchy.
Across the kit the formulas are built to lock moisture in, and that is what keeps frizz down in damp British weather rather than just flattening it for an hour. Curls stay soft and pliable through the day instead of setting hard by lunchtime.

Application tips
Apply on soaking hair, in order: the activator through each section first, then the mousse over the top once that section is coated.
Banding the length with soft ties while it dries, or setting a few large twists, holds the stretch the activator is working for. Air dry if you have time, or diffuse on low. Take the bands out only when the hair is completely dry.
Results
Curls dry longer than they usually do, so shrinkage takes less of the length away and the hair hangs closer to its real size. The pattern stays defined and soft to the touch, with volume through the mid-lengths and no stiffness by mid-afternoon.
Frizz holds off through a damp day, and the hair stays pliable enough to restyle the next morning with water alone.
