Crazy Color Neutral Mix Semi-Permanent Hair Colour Pastelizer 250 ml / 8.45 oz
Semi-permanent colour comes out of the bottle at full strength, which is fine when full strength is what you want. Neutral Mix is what you add when it is not: a clear, pigment free base that thins any Crazy Color shade down into a pastel.
The mix ratio decides the result. A little colour into a lot of base gives the faintest wash of a shade, and more colour pulls it back towards the original. It also lets you build tones that do not exist on the shade card by combining two colours in the same pot.
- Dilutes any semi-permanent Crazy Color shade into a pastel
- Lets you mix custom tones rather than working from the shade card
- Conditions the hair while it sits
- Vegan and cruelty free
250 ml (8.45 oz), which goes a long way given that most of what ends up on your hair is base rather than pigment.

Application tips
Mix in a bowl, not on the head. Start with a small amount of colour into a lot of base, stir until there are no streaks, then test it on a cut strand before you commit.
Adjust from there, adding pigment a little at a time, because you can always deepen a mix and you cannot lighten one back. Work on clean, dry, pre-lightened hair and apply the same way you would a full-strength shade.
Results
Pastels land where full-strength dye would have gone neon. A pale lilac, a dusty mint, a blush pink, all from shades that come out of the bottle at full volume.
The base conditions while it sits, so hair that has been lightened enough to take pastel is not left drier than it started. Custom mixes hold as well as a straight shade, since you have thinned the pigment rather than weakened it.
