Crazy Color Anti-Bleed Spray Locks in Vibrant Hair Colour for Coloured Hair 250 ml / 8.45 oz
Anyone who has put a semi-permanent blue or pink through their hair knows the two annoyances that follow. The colour runs in the shower for the first few washes, and it fades faster than the box suggested.
This spray goes at both. Applied after colouring, it forms a barrier that keeps dye sealed into the hair shaft, so less of it ends up on your towel, your pillowcase and the collar of a white shirt. Because less pigment escapes each wash, the shade holds its depth for longer and stays truer to the tone you mixed.
It is a Crazy Color product built around Crazy Color's own dyes, though semi-permanent colour behaves much the same across brands. The bottle holds 250 ml, which covers a full head several times over.
Best for anyone in bright fashion shades, particularly the blues, greens and pinks that bleed hardest.

Application tips
This goes on after the dye is rinsed out and the hair is still damp, not before colouring and not on dry hair days later.
Mist it over the lengths in sections until they are evenly wet, then comb through so nothing is missed, and let it dry without rinsing. Old towels and a dark pillowcase for the first two nights regardless, because no barrier catches everything on a fresh vivid.
Results
The first two or three washes are where most of a vivid disappears down the drain, and that is the stretch this changes. Rinse water runs clearer sooner.
Because less pigment leaves each time, the shade drops in brightness gradually rather than falling off a cliff in week one. It matters most on the fashion shades, where fading turns a colour muddy rather than simply lighter.
