Keratin is the protein hair is mostly made of, and a keratin mist is the simplest way to put some of it back after bleaching, heat or a run of hard wash days.
Chi's version is a leave-in, sprayed on and left in rather than rinsed, so it works while the hair dries and while you style. It fortifies the strand, which shows up as less breakage on the brush, and it conditions at the same time, so the hair feels softer and combs through with less pulling.

Application tips
Mist it over towel-dried hair, section by section, holding the bottle back far enough that the spray lands evenly.
Comb through while it is still wet and the tangles give up without pulling. Leave it in and style over the top.
On dry hair between washes, a light pass over the mid-lengths smooths the surface without wetting the whole head.
Results
Damaged hair feels stronger under tension, and that shows first in how the comb moves through it. Frizz settles, the surface reads smoother, and shine comes back on lengths that had gone dull.
It is light enough not to flatten fine hair. Being a leave-in, the protection stays with the hair through blow drying and through the rest of the day.
