It also works away from the hairline, on flyaways down the length or on the ends of a slicked ponytail. Rosemary gives it its scent. The finish is shiny rather than matte, so it reads as polished on curly and coily hair.
Twist up a small amount, apply directly where you want control, then work it in with an edge brush or your fingertips and tie a scarf over the top for a few minutes if you want it sharper. The 2.7 oz stick is small enough to keep in a bag.

Application tips
Twist up only a few millimetres of the stick. Run it directly along the hairline, the parting, or wherever a flyaway is standing up, then press it down with a fingertip or a small brush.
Dry hair only. On damp hair it drags and skips. Build a second pass if you need more grip, and cap it straight after so the surface does not dry out.
Results
Loose hairs lie flat and stay flat, including around a bun or a slicked back parting.
The hold is firm without any stickiness and stays flexible enough that hair still moves. There is a natural sheen rather than a wet shine, no flaking as the day goes on, and no white residue where you have gone over the same spot twice.
