Agor Organic Twist Defining Butter Definition & Moisture 430 g/15 oz
Six butters, which is unusual. Mango, cocoa, cupuacu, kokum, murumuru and shea all go into this one alongside a blend of oils, and that is what gives it the weight to hold a twist and the slip to get through a section without fighting it.
Agor position it as an elongating cream for twists, twist-outs and braids. It moisturises while it styles, helps with detangling, and leaves the finished style smooth and shiny rather than dull. Thick, coarse hair and softer hair both suit it. You simply adjust how much you use.
Use it on wet or dry hair. Divide the hair into manageable sections, massage the butter through each one so it runs along the strand instead of sitting at the root, then twist or braid as you intend.
430 g is a large tub, and it needs to be. Twists take more product than most styles, particularly on long or dense hair, and the amount that gives a proper twist-out on thick hair would be extravagant on anything else. 15 oz.

Application tips
Adjust the amount to the texture: coarse hair takes a proper scoop, softer hair a fraction of one, and too much on the latter turns the twist greasy. Work it through a damp section from root to end, smoothing rather than raking, then twist immediately while the hair is still slick. Let it dry completely before unravelling, or the definition never sets.
Results
Twists that hold their shape and a twist-out that keeps it once unravelled, which is the whole test. The butter blend elongates as you apply, so coils sit longer and looser rather than springing back to nothing. Knots loosen on the way through. The finish is smooth and shiny rather than heavy, and it stays soft enough to separate the next morning.
