African Pride Shea Miracle Bouncy Curls Pudding 15oz
Pudding is an honest description of the texture. It is thicker than a cream and softer than a gel, and that is what lets it hold a coil without setting it hard.
Bouncy Curls Pudding is a styling aid rather than a treatment, and it covers a lot of ground: fluffy finger styles, coils, two-strand twists, braid-outs and pony puffs all set well with it. If you want a softer result, African Pride suggest running their Shea Butter Leave-In Conditioner through first and layering the pudding over the top of that.
Rub a generous amount between your palms, then finger comb it through section by section from roots to ends. Keep reapplying and stretching the curl until the definition looks right, because the elongating happens during application rather than after it.
15oz tub. Suits curly and coily hair, roughly 2c through 4c.

Application tips
Palms first, always. A pudding worked straight into hair without emulsifying goes on in lumps. Rub it out until your hands are slick, then finger-comb one section at a time from root to end, stretching as you go. Reapply where the hair drinks it. Keep going until the curls sit at the length you want, then set them into twists, coils or a puff.
Results
Bounce is the word the name promises and the texture delivers, because a pudding holds the curl without setting it hard. Coils sit fuller, twists come out defined, and a pony puff keeps its shape rather than collapsing by lunchtime. Fingers alone are enough to shape it. Layered over a leave-in it comes out softer, which is the version most people prefer.
