Application tips
Do a strand test from a hidden section at the nape first. Twenty minutes there tells you more about the final tone than any shade chart will.
Apply to dry hair for the strongest result, or dilute with a plain conditioner if you want it softer. Cap the head, leave it, then rinse cool until the water clears. Wash cold for the first few washes afterwards.
Results
Tone comes out close to the chart on pre lightened hair, and reads as a tint on hair that has not been lifted. Two or three shades mix together cleanly if you want something in between. Condition is the other half of it. Hair feels softer after colouring than before, and stays flexible rather than going brittle, which is what usually follows a bleach and dye day.
