Pre-stretched fibre removes the job nobody enjoys. No pulling each bundle out to a taper before you start, no pile of trimmed ends on the floor, no hour lost before the first braid goes in.
This comes as six packs at 52 inches, long enough to fold and still reach past the waist, or to cut down for shorter styles without wasting much. Six packs covers a full head at most braid sizes with room left for feed-ins.
The strand is the usual Kanekalon-style modacrylic, light and tangle-controlled, with the tapered ends already in place so a finished braid ends in a point rather than a blunt stop. Colour blending works the way it always does, in small feed-in increments as you go.

Application tips
Six packs is a full head with spare, so open two or three at a time and leave the rest sealed rather than letting loose fibre gather on the floor. Draw your feed off the tapered end of the bundle instead of the middle, and the point survives into the finished braid.
Fifty-two inches folds to roughly waist length on most people. If you want it shorter, trim once the braid is closed, never before.
Results
Fibre comes out of the pack ready to plait, which turns the first hour of an install into actual braiding.
Lengths finish on a soft point, so the ends look deliberate rather than chopped. Braids stay light for the size they are, they comb out at take-down without shredding, and six packs means density holds from the front rows through to the last ones at the nape.
