This is the avocado oil and chamomile version of the Sta Sof Fro braiding gel, made to grip while you are parting and plaiting and then hold that neatness once the style is in. Firm but flexible, so cornrows and box braids stay put without the whole head feeling set solid. It is lightweight and does not go greasy at the roots, which is usually what makes a braiding gel unbearable by the second week.
Avocado oil handles the conditioning side and chamomile the softness. Frizz stays down, flakes stay away, and the 250ml bottle covers several full heads.
Stylists and home braiders use it the same way. Small amounts, section by section, worked in before the plait rather than smoothed over the top afterwards, which is the mistake that leaves a white cast along the parting.

Application tips
Braiding gel goes on the section, not the whole head. Take the parted piece, run a small amount from root to tip with your fingers, then plait immediately while it is still slippery.
Waiting until it tacks up makes the braid drag. Smooth a thin film over the finished rows at the end to lay the surface hairs down, and let it set fully before tying anything over the top.
Results
Rows come out sharp and stay that way, with the flyaways that usually appear an hour later pressed flat instead. Grip is strong enough to hold a small braid closed without turning the hair into cardboard.
The finish is glossy rather than dull, and it does not shed white bits when you touch it. Braids look freshly done for several days longer than they would unaided.
