TP30/1B is a two-tone, darker at the root running into a lighter tip, so the colour blend is built in rather than something you have to mix yourself as you feed. The gradient does the work.
The fibre is flame retardant, which is a standard safety marker on braiding hair and worth checking for, and it is Kanekalon, so it stays light enough to carry 25 inches without dragging on the scalp. Pre-stretched and pre-feathered means no prep at all. Straight out of the pack, taper already there, tangle-free through the install.
Box braids, knotless, cornrows, crochet braids and kinky twists all work with it.

Application tips
Open one pack at a time and keep the rest bagged, or the loose ends tangle in a pile. Pull a strand from the folded end and the taper comes away with it.
Feed in as normal, with no stretching or feathering first. For crochet, cut to length before installing. Seal finished ends in hot water, keeping the water well away from the scalp.
Results
Root end sits dark and the tips run lighter, so the gradient is already in the pack and needs no mixing as you feed. It reads as a blend rather than a stripe.
Twenty-five inches stays light on the head, so a braid count past a hundred does not become tension by day three. The fibre runs smooth through an install rather than knotting in the hand.
