Application tips
Shampoo first, concentrating on the scalp and letting the lather run down the lengths rather than scrubbing them. Rinse properly. Conditioner goes mid-length to ends, left on while you finish in the shower, then rinsed until the hair slips through your fingers.
Edge control is the last thing, on a hairline that has been towel-dried, brushed into shape and then left alone to set.
Results
Hair comes out of the wash soft instead of stripped, and the comb-through afterwards takes minutes rather than turning into a fight. There is enough slip left behind for a wide-tooth comb to pass without snagging.
By the end the front is smooth and the length carries a low, even shine. Three steps in the order you would use them anyway.
