Units get dry in a way that growing hair does not, because nothing is feeding them from the root. A wig that has been worn for a few weeks goes dull, tangles at the nape and starts to look tired, and washing alone will not bring it back.
This is a leave-in that conditions and detangles in the same pass. It loosens knots so a comb moves through without pulling fibres out, and it puts moisture back into strands that have no other source of it. Frizz and static come down, and the surface smooths enough to catch the light again.

Application tips
Best done with the unit on a stand rather than on your head, so you can see what you are doing. Damp the fibres lightly, then work a small amount through one section at a time, starting at the tips and moving up towards the weft.
Follow with a wide tooth comb, never a brush, and stop at any knot instead of dragging through it. Leave it in. On braids, smooth it over the length with your palms and leave the roots alone.
Results
Fibres that had gone rough and grabby turn soft again, and the comb stops catching every few centimetres. Static settles, so the ends sit down instead of lifting away from each other.
Lengths look less faded once the surface is smooth, and a unit that had started to look secondhand passes for newer. Nothing goes stiff or sticky, and the hair keeps its movement.
