It sits after leave-in conditioner in the routine and before you leave the hair to dry. The hold is soft and flexible rather than firm, so a wash-and-go looks defined without setting into a crunchy cast, and the moisture side of the formula keeps that definition from turning to frizz as the hair dries. It adds shine to the finished style as well.
Apply it to damp, detangled hair, working in sections so every curl group gets covered evenly. Start with a small amount and add more only where the hair actually needs it, because finer sections overload easily.
Where a glaze earns its place is on day two. A soft-hold product that has kept moisture in the hair refreshes with water far more easily than a firm gel does, so a second-day style comes back rather than needing to be washed out and started again.

Application tips
Creme-gels want wet hair. Apply straight after the leave-in while everything is still soaking, one section at a time, raking it in and then closing your hand around the length to form the clump. Scrunch upward. Dry it undisturbed. If a light cast forms, break it between your palms once the hair is completely dry.
