Application tips
Curly synthetic hair that has already matted needs more than a surface coat, so wet the piece through first and work the activator in from underneath, where the tangling starts.
A small amount diluted in a spray bottle stretches further across a long install. Twist or plait the hair at night and take it down in the morning. Once every few days is usually enough, more often in dry indoor heat.
Results
Curls that had gone frizzy and undefined draw back into a recognisable pattern. Fibre that felt dry and squeaky softens up and stops snagging on itself.
On braids and locs the effect is different, more sheen and less brittleness than tighter curl. Nothing greasy is left behind, so dust does not settle on the style and the curls keep their volume into the following day.
