Application tips
Wash in two passes on the first go if you have been layering stylers, once thereafter, keeping the shampoo at the scalp and off the ends.
Conditioner is the opposite: ends first, working up, and nothing at the root. Leave it while you wash the rest of you, comb it through, then rinse. Squeeze rather than rub with the towel, and get a styler on while the hair is still properly wet.
Results
Washing leaves the hair clean without stripping it, and the pattern is already forming while it is still wet. Buildup goes and the roots feel lighter for it. The conditioner leaves enough softness that a comb passes through without pulling, and definition holds through drying.
