Shade 27 of the Impression bulk range, supplied pre-stretched. The fibre comes feathered and tapered, so the hour of prep that bulk hair normally demands before the first braid is already done for you.
It is light in the hand and stays tangle-free through an install, which keeps tension off the scalp on styles meant to last weeks. Knotless braids and classic box braids both hold well with it, and the texture blends against natural hair rather than sitting on top looking obviously synthetic.

Application tips
Shade 27 reads warm, so hold a strand against the natural hair in daylight before committing to a full head.
Part cleanly and work in rows from the nape upwards. Feed the fibre in gradually on knotless work rather than anchoring it all at the root. Dip the finished ends in hot water to set them, and wrap the head at night to keep the braids tidy.
Results
Braids keep their outline through washing and a month of daily wear rather than fuzzing at the crown after a fortnight. The fibre lies against natural hair without the plasticky separation that gives synthetic away in photographs.
