Application tips
Cornrow the base first and keep the rows small; a crochet hook drags less through a tight braid.
Pull a folded length through with the hook, knot it against the cornrow, then move along the row. Because the strands come separated, there is no prep beyond opening the pack. Fluff the twist pattern out with your fingers at the end, never a brush.
Results
Finished braids hang with real movement rather than the stiff look cheap fibre gives, and the twist pattern holds its shape rather than unravelling by the second week.
