One ingredient, sold as a powder, mixed by you. Aztec Secret is 100% calcium bentonite clay, sun-dried in Death Valley and put in a tub with nothing added, which is unusual enough to be the whole reason people buy it.
You mix it with water or apple cider vinegar into a paste and apply it. On skin it draws oil and build-up out of the pores and dries down tight, which is a strange sensation the first time and the thing everyone mentions afterwards. On hair and scalp it does the same job, lifting product residue and excess oil before a wash day. If you use a lot of butters, gels and creams, a clay rinse every few weeks resets the hair in a way shampoo alone does not, and curls come out with noticeably more volume and grip.
The 908 g/32.03 oz tub is the bulk size, and at the rate a face mask uses it that is a very long time. Mix only what you need in a non-metal bowl, since metal reacts with the clay, and keep the rest dry.
Rinse thoroughly and follow with a conditioner, because clay leaves hair squeaky and it will need the moisture put back.
