One ingredient, sold as a powder, mixed by you. Aztec Secret is 100% calcium bentonite clay, sun-dried in Death Valley and put in a tub with nothing added, which is unusual enough to be the whole reason people buy it.
You mix it with water or apple cider vinegar into a paste and apply it. On skin it draws oil and build-up out of the pores and dries down tight, which is a strange sensation the first time and the thing everyone mentions afterwards. On hair and scalp it does the same job, lifting product residue and excess oil before a wash day. If you use a lot of butters, gels and creams, a clay rinse every few weeks resets the hair in a way shampoo alone does not, and curls come out with noticeably more volume and grip.
The 908 g/32.03 oz tub is the bulk size, and at the rate a face mask uses it that is a very long time. Mix only what you need in a non-metal bowl, since metal reacts with the clay, and keep the rest dry.
Rinse thoroughly and follow with a conditioner, because clay leaves hair squeaky and it will need the moisture put back.

Application tips
Mix in a glass or plastic bowl, roughly one part clay powder to one part water, stirring with a wooden spoon until the paste is smooth and spreadable.
Spread a thin, even layer over clean skin. Five to ten minutes is plenty on a first attempt, and it should come off before it dries rock hard. On the scalp, part the hair, work the paste onto the skin and rinse right through.
Results
The clay tightens as it dries, which is the pulling sensation people describe, and it lifts oil and surface grime with it. Skin comes up matt and clean, slightly pink for a few minutes afterwards, with pores looking smaller.
On the scalp it leaves the roots light and squeaky, so hair holds volume for longer. A rich moisturiser afterwards is not optional.
