Retwisting is where loc maintenance actually lives, and the gel you use decides whether the new growth holds or comes undone by the weekend. Supreme Hold is made for that job specifically.
It suits dreadlocks, faux locs, interlocks and microlocks. The hold is strong enough to keep a fresh retwist in place while the roots settle, and it keeps the locs looking clean rather than dull or frizzy in the weeks between sessions.
Each jar is 10 oz, and it is sold in packs of three, six or nine. Anyone retwisting on a schedule gets through more of it than they expect, which is the reasoning behind the multipacks.
Apply at the root, twist in your usual direction, and let it dry fully before you cover the hair for the night.

Application tips
Buying three, six or nine jars only makes sense if you retwist on a schedule, so set one.
Wash and towel the locs, part in rows, apply a small amount at the root of each loc and twist in the direction the loc already runs. Sit under a dryer or air dry fully before you sleep on it. Keep the spare jars sealed and out of the sun.
Results
Retwists hold neatly at the root and stay put between appointments, which is what buying in bulk is for. Locs look tidier along the partings and pick up shine instead of that grey, dried-out look. Microlocs and interlocks keep their definition. Starting each round from a full jar means the gel is never scraped out and stiff at the point you need it most.
