Aloe vera gel is one of the few things in a bathroom cabinet that works on hair and on skin without compromising on either.
Agor's is handmade, with aloe barbadensis leaf juice at the top of a very short ingredient list and black castor oil added for weight. On hair it smooths frizz and adds shine without dragging the length down, and it takes the tight, dry feeling out of a scalp. On skin it is cooling and light. There is nothing harsh in it, which is what allows it to move between those jobs rather than being merely adequate at both. Take a small amount and apply it wherever you need it: massage into the scalp, smooth through hair from roots to ends, or work it into skin. Leave it in or rinse it off depending on the job. On curls it also does well as a light layer under a cream, holding definition without the cast a firm gel leaves behind.

Application tips
A small scoop into the palms and rub them together first, or it goes on in cold streaks. Smooth it over the top layer of dry hair to flatten frizz, or take it through damp hair from roots to ends before a styler. On the scalp, work it in with the fingertips and leave it. Rinsing is optional and depends what you used it for.
Results
Cooling on contact, which is the aloe, and the reason it suits a scalp that feels hot and dry after a wash. Frizz lies flat on the surface without the strand going stiff, and hair keeps its shine rather than dulling under a film. Black castor oil adds enough weight to hold moisture in. The same tub does skin, which is how 300ml disappears.
