Second day curls usually need moisture and shine rather than more styling product, and that is the gap a dry oil mist fills. This one is silicone free and vegan, built on triglyceride, and it goes on as a fine mist rather than something you have to rub in.

The finish is glossy without being greasy. Frizz and flyaways settle, curls look revived instead of flat, and moisture stays locked in through the day. It works on wavy, curly and coily hair, and it does not leave the weight a heavier oil does.

Shake the can, hold it 20 to 30cm from your head, and mist evenly over dry or damp curls, concentrating on the areas that have gone dull. Less is more here, and you can always add another pass.

200ml. The one to keep by the mirror for the days between wash days.

Application tips

Two or three passes from an arm's length is plenty, and it is worth erring low, since a dry oil is easy to overdo. Aim at the mid-lengths and ends and let the drift handle the rest. On second-day curls, mist it and then cup a few sections in your hands to press the shape back. On wash day, use it last, once the hair is fully dry.

Results

Curls pick up a gloss that looks like conditioning rather than product. The mist lands so lightly that a wave keeps its volume, and there is nothing to weigh down a fine texture. Frizz calms without the hair feeling coated. Since no silicone is involved, it does not stack up into dullness over a week of daily refreshes, and the finish stays smooth to the touch.
