Application tips
Co-washing means the conditioner does the cleaning, so it wants more product and more time than a shampoo would.
Wet the hair through, work a handful into the scalp with fingertips, then take it down the lengths and finger comb while it is in. Leave it a minute or two, rinse well, and follow with a leave-in. Every wash is fine, since nothing here strips the hair.
Results
Hair is left clean without that stripped squeak, and on a child's fine curls the squeak causes half the tangling.
Curls stay soft and springy, and the scalp does not go tight afterwards. Because slip is still in the hair when you rinse, the comb goes through in the shower rather than becoming a separate battle later. Suits weekly washing on hair that dries out fast.
