Curl Custard.
Curl custards sit at the heaviest end of the styler shelf — denser than a cream, more conditioning than a gel — and they're built for curl patterns that need real hold to stay defined. If your routine ends with cream and gel and your curls still drop by lunchtime, a custard is usually the missing layer. Our edit is curated for type 3B through 4C: formulations that lock in moisture, lay down the cuticle, and give you next-day definition without the dreaded crunch. Apply on soaking-wet hair, scrunch in, diffuse on low — that's the whole technique.

About this collection
Curl custard — a heavy, gel-cream hybrid styler designed for maximum curl definition and hold. Curl custards combine cream-level moisture with gel-level hold in a single product, ideal for type 3-4 hair that needs both. Used wet on soaking-wet hair, layered alone or with a separate gel for extra hold.
Curl custard vs curl cream vs curl gel
Custard = heavy, defining, gel-cream hybrid. Provides both moisture and hold. Best as a standalone styler for type 3-4. Cream = medium moisture, light hold, soft finish. Layered with gel for full hold. Gel = strong hold, less moisture, defined cast finish. Layered over cream. Custard simplifies routines for curlies who don't want multiple products.
Application technique
Soaking-wet hair. After leave-in. Cup a generous amount in palms. Smooth section by section from roots to ends. Scrunch upward to encourage curl formation. Don't disturb until 80%+ dry. Scrunch out the cast when fully dry to reveal soft defined curls.
